Our weapons are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We destroy people’s arguments (for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the casting down of strongholds) The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. Our weapons have power from God that can destroy the enemy’s strong places. We fight with weapons that are different from those the world uses. We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. The tools of our trade aren’t for market for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. But we don’t live or fight our battles that way-never have and never will. It’s dog-eat-dog out there!
